The Golden Finches team will be exploring a variety of Santa Clara County parks seeking out the wide range of bird species that thrive across our region's diverse habitats. From open spaces to wooded areas and waterways, we'll follow a carefully planned route, spotting and tracking the many birds that call these environments home.

Our team plans to observe the behaviors of multiple species and record as many as possible. Through our contribution to bird conservation in our community, we hope to inspire a deeper connection to birds, nature, and each other.

All funds raised by this team go to support Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance. Top fundraisers (based on funds raised across all teams fundraisers participate in) are eligible for prizes at the end of the Spring Birdathon competition (March 31 to May 3).
